Eric Clapton's "Live at the Marquee."

Eric tinkered with his band line-up a bit. On stage were Doyle Bramhall II (guitars / backing vocals), Willie Weeks (bass), Abe Laboriel Jr (drums), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Sharon White (backing vocals) and Michelle John (backing vocals).
Abe Laboriel Jr is well known to music fans as the drummer in Paul McCartney's band in recent years played with Eric after Abe's Independence Concert in Kiev with Macca.

New Genesis DVD When In Rome 2007

musicramble.com posted about the new Genesis DVD that's available today. It's called "When In Rome 2007" and it's a three DVD set, wrapped in a deluxe digipak. It's only available in Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores, but it's also available online at genesis-music.com.

This exciting new release includes the original open-air concert at Rome's Circo Massimo before 500,000 fans, plus a tour documentary. Which is very interesting since Genesis, Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford, reunited after 15 years and undertook one of 2007's most successful tours.

Besides the entire 2 hour and 36 minute concert, the new DVD set includes photo galleries, deleted scenes and photographic reproductions of tour programs.

During the 2007 tour, Genesis played to a staggering 1.4 million fans during 22 European dates before heading to North America.

Secrets of the Guitar Heroes: B.B. King

So, what I do mostly is try to play the note to make it make sense, not only to me, but to you, too. If I went on a stage and just started playing everything I like, you'd probably look at me like, "What the hell is he doing?" Read more...
